Daycare
Our top priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. This goal has been incorporated into every decision and process we have made.
Infant Program - Jelly Fish Room
At Play ‘N’ Fun daycare our Infant Care program accepts babies 12 to 18 months old. We strive to give the babies the love, affection and care that they receive at home with a professional touch. The infants will get ample time and opportunity to explore their surroundings, play with different interactive toys and with the caring staff. Weather permitting; we also take the infants outside for our routine walks in safe group strollers.
In our infant program, we help our babies to develop and grow skills such as, lingual, physical, emotional, and senses by reaching to their individual developmental speed and learning abilities. The age-appropriate daily activities and the variety of tools available to them will make this process fun and joyful for both educators and infants.
In our infant program we provide one nutritious meal and two snacks. Infants, who are not yet taking Homo milk may bring their suitable type of milk daily. Parents with cultural or religious dietary restrictions are more than welcome to bring their own peanut and nuts free food.
Toddler Program - Star Fish Room
At Play ‘N’ Fun daycare we are excited to have your youngster join our exploring toddler program. The children get the freedom to explore various learning activities. Activities include but are not limited to housekeeping / dramatic Play, manipulative toys, cars, trucks, dolls, play dough, sand, water, art and craft. If weather permitting, we take children outside of the classroom to give them an opportunity for outdoor activities.
Our expert educators discover the individual needs and developmental abilities of each child and help them to grow their social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and lingual skills by spending quality time in smaller groups and creating diverse and exploring activities. The sense of security and trust, that built between the educators and the toddlers helps this process more exciting and fun for both educators and toddlers.
Our toddler program provides one nutritious meal and two snacks. Parents with cultural or religious dietary restrictions are more than welcome to bring their own peanut and nuts free food.
Preschool (Turtle Room) & Pre-Kinder/Kinder Programs (Penguin Room)
At our Play ‘N’ Fun daycare our preschooler and Pre-kinder groups are those young children who are not yet attending kindergarten.
The educators incorporate the children’s interests into the room and plans activities accordingly. The children are given the freedom to explore various learning activities. The activities facilitated include but will not be limited to housekeeping / dramatic Play, library, arts & craft, sand and water, etc.
There all many group projects and activities, that educators plan by the leadership of children’s interests. The social and emotional skills of children at this age group is taken seriously and will work on in details.

Our Programs
Out of School Care
Before & After School Program (Dolphin Room)
Our kindergarten and out of school age children are the ones who are attending Kindergarten to grade 6 in any schools across Edmonton. Children who are attending kindergarten in one of the close schools in the Chappelle community, including Donald Getty, Dr, Lila Fahlman, St. Thomas, Garth Worthington, Chapple Gardens, will receive transportation inclusive in their monthly tuition. We cooperate with other school transportation arrangements such as Yellow bus or school mini vans or parent’s drop off.
In This program, the educators are expert in realizing children’s needs by close observation, quality conversation, and creating daily teamwork and respect.
Our kindergartners and school age children are given lots of responsibilities to discover their emotions and communicate them with the educators as they wish. The leader of the activities are children themselves by the professional guidance of the educators. Our OSC. and kinder program provides a good opportunity to older children to discover their personality, leadership skills, talents, and individual abilities and by the help of their educators they can grow and stablish them for a brighter and more successful future.
Morning and afternoon snack will be provided to after school age children and lunch will be provided to half day kindergartners.
